Graystar stalked to the end of his border and sat down, keeping his senses alert for any signs of danger. Life was going good for him right now but part of him slightly missed his old chums from awhile back. Icestar was one of them, he only saw here during gathering and they really didn't talk much. Stormstar, his younger brother died not too long ago. He just wanted to know what was going on with Icestar and if she was getting along alright.

Amber eyes rested on the border as Icestar glared at the tom in front of her.
"Graystar," She greeted flatly, no tone could be identified in her voice. "What brings you to this part of the forest?" Her claws were not extended and her ears were pricked, but for some reason, the tabby leader was still uncertian about their new homes...

Graystar's ears flicked back. "Can't a leader say hey to his old friends?" he started to stalk off but something stopped him. "Say speaking of old friends, you haven't seen Warstar lately have you?" he was slightly upset that he hadn't seen her in awhile but then again she had her own Clan to run. His blue eyes locked on Icestorm's amber ones.

Icestorm shook her head. "Im sorry," she whispered, "I didn't mean it like that, and no, I havent seen War lately, I miss her too."
The tabby she cat looked around the border, noting all the surroundings. "I still havent settled in all the way..." she muttered quietly.

Graystar nodded slightly. "Me either. But hey we'll get the hang of it soon." his blue eyes shined as he smiled at his old pal.

Icestar gave a curt nod and sat down, resting her weight on her haunches.
"At least its nice here..." she whispered, resting her amber eyes on the tom. "My clan seems to be going ok. Few cats survived the journey, but more will appear....we got seperated..." she said, her claws unsheathing with anger. "I should have tried harder to keep them together..."
"How is your clan...?" she asked, watching her friend with intrest.

Graystar nodded, "Good. I appointed a new deputy a few days ago. He's a close friend." He smiled, remembering his friend, Pantherpelt.
He focused back to reality. "Icestar, it wasn't your fault. It was a long journey. Cats were bound to die." he meowed quietly.

Golden eyes gleamed from the darkness, watching a GrayClan tom and a she-cat from another clan. The yellow eyes narrowed. She knew one of these cats was the leader of her clan and the other was a cat she didn't know; and that was all that mattered.
Shadewing melted forth from the brush, like the fading gray shadows of twilight. Her small black paws stepped lightly across the ground, and she looked very much like a kittypet besides her hardened yellow gaze and her muscles rippling beneath her soft, sleek pelt. Her whiskers twitched for a moment before pulling back in a leer brimming with malice. Her jaws parted ever so slightly and speech emerged.
"Who are you?" She hissed softly as she glared distrustfully at the cat she didn't know. It was frightening to see such a petite and pretty she-cat speak in a voice that could send shivers down a dog's spine. Her claws slid slowly and menacingly from their sheaths, but that was a natural habit, and she didn't mean it threateningly for she barely realized she had done so.
The black warrior remained standing and stood roughly a leaps distance from both cats, though a bit closer to Graystar than to the other cat. Shadewing knew that although this she-cat was friendly with Graystar, she might not take so kindly to a knew cat. Which was why she was so hostile, even though Graystar seemed to accept her as a friend.
